The Birth Day of Thomas Paine. At a meeting of the friends of free enquiry at Julien Hall on Sunday the 29th ult. It was resolved to celebrate in a suitable and appropriate manner the anniversary of the birth day of Thomas Paine, on the 29th of January then ensuing. A Committee of arrangements was then appointed, consisting of twenty, to make the necessary enquiries and report at a subsequent meeting. The meeting then adjourned to meet at the same place (Julien Hall) on Sunday, January 12th, at 4 o’clock, P. M. immediately after the afternoon lecture.
Those wishing to participate in the above named celebration are requested to leave their names at this office, or else sign a paper which may be presented to them by a member of the committee to that effect, previous to the report of said committee.
