To the Republican citizens of the city of New York.—The friends to the writings of the late Thomas Paine, will celebrate his Birth Day on Monday the 29th inst at John Crellin’s, Bank Lodge, No. 45 William st. near Wall st. Those citizens that consider Mr Paine as one of the principal agents in accomplishing the Independence of America, are respectfully invited to attend Dinner on the table at 3 o’clock. Tickets to be had at the Bar, at Wm. Carver’s, No. 8 Elm st.; at G. N. Devries’ book store, corner of Vesey st. and Broadway, and at Doyle’s book store, corner of Park Place and Broadway. Price of tickets one dollar each.
N. B. The Committee will meet on Thursday Evening, at the Bank Lodge, at 7 o’clock. Those that are friendly to the cause, are desired to attend.
