THOMAS PAINE!
The celebration of the 95th Anniversary of the birth day of the immortal Paine, will take place at Tammany Hall, on Sunday Evening, the 29th inst. at 7 o’clock, when an Oration will be delivered, several hymns & odes prepared for the occasion will be sung, accompanied with a band of instrumental music.
Admittance to the Hall on that evening six cents—females free.
Ball and Dinner in Tammany Hall—On the following day, (30th) the friends and admirers of the writings of that great man will have an opportunity to celebrate the event by a Dinner and a Grand Ball at the same place. Dinner will be on the table at 4 o’clock precise—and the Ball commence at 8. Doors will open at 7 o’clock.
The price of a ticket for the dinner and ball will be $1 50, tickets for either $1. which will admit a gentleman and two ladies. The Ball will be conducted by a Committee of Managers; an efficient Band of Music, and the floor will be under the direction of Mr. Parker. Every attention will be paid to the comfort of those who may attend, and to ensure order. Tickets to be had at Tammany Hall, the American Star, Washington Square, Nos. 21 and 165 Chatham street, and 95 Fulton street.
