Daniel Gomes de Carvalho has been a professor of Modern History at the University of São Paulo (USP) since 2023, an institution where he also obtained his doctorate in 2017 with a thesis entitled "The Radical Thought of Thomas Paine (1793-1797): Architect and Work of the French Revolution." He is the author of several academic, didactic, and supplementary books, including "The French Revolution" (Contexto, 2022) and "Thomas Paine and the French Revolution" (Editora Paco, 2023). He is currently a member of the Thomas Paine National Historical Association.
