The Thomas Paine National Historical Association is to erect a memorial building and ground will be broken then with appropriate ceremonies.
One of the most interesting of the many old buildings in Westchester County is the attractive frame house in New Rochelle.
The bronze tablet was erected Saturday by the Greenwich Village Historical society on the site formerly occupied by the house where Thomas Paine died.
The Greenwich Village Historical Society is raising a fund to place a memorial tablet on the house at 59 Grove Street, occupying the site of the earlier dwelling in which Thomas Paine died in 1809.

Representatives of foreign governments and historical and patriotic societies attended the unveiling of a bronze tablet to the memory of Paine at the house in Greenwich Village where he once lived.
